Hi, FLAC version should be certainly available anywhere for both PINOCCHIO and THE SECRET GARDEN. But I am not personally that interested in non-CDs either, so I am not particularly sure where. Although I tried to find something without much of a luck... perhaps someone else can be more helpful.

I just heard a little bit of pinocchio from my friend watching the movie. I went to Amazon to buy the music, but they don't have it on CD. I don't want to buy any mp3 files as they are not good enough. Is there anywhere you will have a higher quality recording available.

Hello - I just heard one excerpt from your film score for Anna Karenina, and it is wonderful! It appears it is for small ensemble? Is the music published? I am a violin/violist, always looking for interesting pieces to play on my chamber music series. I would love to purchase the parts if they are available to buy. I have been looking but could not find out how to buy them. Thank you for your wonderful creativity and beautiful music.

Hi, thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately Pandaemonium soundtrack was pre-announced as one of the future released on MovieScore Media for the rest of 2011 in Ubeda in summer 2011, but got delayed and still hasn't been released yet. The last update I had was suggesting it might be coming in early 2012, but that hasn't happened yet. I indeed hope, it is still coming but we just have to be patient as there is probably far too many things that can delay its release. I'll definitely post an update as soon as there is one or the release date is finally announced.

Hello there, I've just been wondering if you know exactly when the Pandaemonium soundtrack will be released? I've searched EVERYWHERE for it, and I'm dying to get my hands on it. How did you find out it was going to be released in early 2012, are there any updates on the matter? Thank you for all the effort you put into running this site, it was the only place I found information on it!

Hi Alex, unfortunately my website is in no way connected to Mr. Marianelli or anyone near him, therefore you won't get any response from him directly. After many years in collecting film music and discussing it with many composers, there are basically two "easiest" way to get to work on films. First you can offer your services at local film school, where you can not only meet some aspiring filmmakers and get to know the whole process while working on their student films, but also make some contact, which can be essential later. The other way is to connect with some of the beginning composers and offer them your help in assisting in any ways necessary. For example Klaus Badelt is looking for some particular positions to fill (www.klausbadelt.com), which can be very helpful as you will get to know the whole process in more professional settings and if you prove yourself capable, your role might grow in the future. There is a couple of very good composers working in the business who started working for other composers and eventually scoring their own projects under supervision of their mentors. Anyway, scoring film is very far from just writing the music for any other medium. You not only have to be capable to write music in the first place but also be able to work with people who are in many cases uneducated in music field and you have to be able to translate their wishes into musical terms to fill their wishes. Starting from the scrach and working with some young filmmakers is probably the best possible way to start and especially learn the whole craft. There is also very good article on the subject written by John Ottman on his official website. Anyway, good luck and thank you for visiting... :)

Dear Mr. Marianelli, I've personally seen the movies Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Atonement, all of which I loved. I'm thirteen and a half and have decided to become a film composer. I want to go to Berkley or Juliard for college, but for now I'm taking private lessons and a theory class. I've already written my own music, and am planning on having my own album of songs I wrote by the end of the year. My brothers, my father, and I love to play with each other. My father used to play tenor sax. but plays bass with us. My oldest younger brother, Ben plays electric guitar, and my youngest brother plays the drums. I play piano and clarinet, but compose on the piano. One of my idols, in addition to you, is George Winston. I've been to two of his concerts and love the classical sound, but am also fond of popular music. I'd like to have some idea of how to get into the group of film composers so it is easier when I am older. Thank you, Alex By the way, I have downloaded your albums, Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre on my ipod.

Hi, thanks :) DeLuxe edition of East, Pray, Love just appeared featuring 2nd CD with the score. Not sure how much music was in the film, as I haven't seen it, nor do I ever intend to. Can anyone confirm, how much score was included in the movie? I suppose there shouldn't be probably too much given the amount of songs. Otherwise, there is no Far North soundtrack available, no CD, not on iTunes and not even a promo I would be aware of. The list of all CDs/downloads/promos available is listed under discography - well, will be as soon as I get to adapting it to the new layout and adding a couple last CDs :) Happy new year to everyone and look forward to JANA EYRE featuring Dario Marianelli's score. The film is opening approx in mid March 2011 :)
